GDL technology is to use the existing panel manufacturing process to realize the scanning driver IC circuit on the TFT glass substrate, the driver circuit and the driver IC have the same function, the drive circuit is divided into a certain number of GDL units (related to resolution), each GDL unit output a Gate signal to the surface, to achieve the Gate signal input; The function of the driver IC is realized on the TFT substrate, which can remove the driver IC on the Gate side and reduce the cost. At the same time, the size of the Gate side frame can be compressed because there is no need to attach the driver IC, so as to realize the narrow border and splicing screen design.

At present, HKC has successfully introduced GDL technology into a number of projects and successful mass production, and will further expand to high-end surface Monitor, splicing screen and 8K projects in the future. The use of A-SI's GDL technology for the industry's large-size panels belongs to the first echelon level, while developing medium-high frequency products with a higher refresh rate for the industry's advanced level.
