With the increasing demand for large-size TV and video clarity, 8K TV came into being. 8K is 7680×4320 pixels, up to more than 33 million pixels, the pixel amount is 4 times that of 4K. 8K TV display picture quality is more delicate, display more clear, especially in the medical field has a very broad application market.

The 8K panel size is large, the signal line is long, the parasitic capacitance is large, the effective charging is insufficient, and the signal is easy to distort seriously. In addition, due to the unequal length of the source fanout trace of the 8K panel, it is easy to appear the fanout mura (fanout mura) as shown in Figure 1.

The source CH(signal line channel) is divided into multiple groups, and the sub-groups can improve the fanout mura by compensating the signal delay by short signal delay on both sides and long signal delay in the middle, as shown in Figure 2.

At present, 8K display technology in the domestic is still in its infancy, there are many technologies are not very mature, HKC independent research and development of 8K technology by improving the product display perspective, penetration, uniformity, to solve the problem of insufficient charging rate, less signal resources and low penetration rate, so that the picture quality is more delicate, the display is clearer, the future will be promoted in the medical field market.

  • Copper copper technology

With the application of liquid crystal display gradually widely, the display gradually develops in the direction of high resolution and large size. However, the number of metal wires will increase, and the length of the wires will also increase, resulting in an increase in RC, which will cause a delay distortion in the waveform of the voltage signal during transmission.

Copper Copper technology is a technology that changes all the metal wires in the Array process from aluminum (Al) wires to copper wires, and the impedance of both scan and data lines can be reduced by about 35%. Copper Copper process can not only reduce the resistance and capacitance delay of scan line and data line, improve the accuracy of voltage signal transmission of scan line and data line, but also reduce the metal line width and increase the opening rate. The use of dual copper technology can make more perfect large size, high refresh rate, high resolution, narrow frame, low power consumption and other displays. Especially in the production of large-size, ultra-high resolution (8K), high refresh frequency displays, the dual copper technology must be used to produce products that meet the specifications. Copper copper technology combined with Oxide/Organic/COA (CF On Array) and other technologies can further improve product performance and enhance the competitiveness of HKC products.
